(Nook post!) The twins entered the training room, Heatwavw frowning and her sister stifling a laugh. On her own rules, Heatwave was queen of the twips. "I am so getting you all next time." She swore. Blizzard grinned.

As the pointy hat murderer was roaming through the streets to gotham square with a dead body being dragged behind him, people were fainting, screaming, getting sick, and running every other direction. He passed one person who gave a homeless person some money, but his instincts said that this was the perfect opportunity for an insult. "You seem like a nice person!" The Gnome said. "I kill nice people you know!"
And after a few more blocks, he finally reached the square where he proped up the body, took out two guns and began firing them with reckless abandon.

Barbara Grayson wrote:This guy is either really brave or really stupid. Either way we know he belongs in a padded cell in Arkham. He's been walking all the way from Robinson Park to Gotham Square, dragging a dead body that lead a trail of blood right to where this psycho made his kill. I've been tracking him down before reports began to come in. A couple of minutes ago I dispatched several squads of cops to bring him in before any casualties occur. Everything should be fine since Gotham Square is Batman Inc's backyard.

In short: this guy is really sloppy.

Several cop cars drove up to Gotham Square, officers stepped out behind their car doors and fired off several warning shots. "One more shot from you and you're going down!" Detective Bullock shouted through a megaphone, the rest of Gotham's Police Force had guns trained on the Gnome.

(yeahhhh.....the gnome is quite sloppy :I)

"Oh dear, oh dear whatever shall i do?" The Gnome said, not even flinching from the warning shots. Suddently, he pulled three garden gnomes from his bag and javelin style tossed them at the hood of three of the police cars, giving a small chuckle as it peirced the hood. "Know what? you cops are too loud." the gnome said, directing his attention at the police cars he had just targeted. "You should go somewhere nice and quiet! LIKE A CEMETARY!" He reached above his head, squeezed the top of his hat, and the cars he was looking at were quickly engulfed in a large explosion.

Cops aren't stupid. And since Barbara has been running Gotham's Police Force for several years, she made sure that Cops in Gotham had it made. Call it instinct, but whenever anyone throws something at a police officer in Gotham City they automatically assume it's an explosive. It's almost like it always happens here in this crazy city. When the evil faced gnomes bounced onto the hoods of their cars the officers around them ducked out of the way; bit saying that there wasn't any serious injuries but no deaths for the force so far. Bullock though, he was more rash.

"What are you standing there for? Open fire!"

That of course was a shoot to kill order. Still, if Barbara had been there she wouldn't have waited around for Batman to show up. The one reason the Police Force would ever open fire is if others were in danger. This of course was one of those times, the officers who were standing attempted to empty their entire magazines on this man.

Re: Teen Titans: Generations

Post by Vandal on 5/4/2011, 2:11 am

An alarm went off as soon as Nicole stepped foot into the Batcave. Immediately, several men and women dressed in capes and cowls came rushing to the scene. One man turned off the alarm as he approached; he had been on the cameras but the others weren't acknowledged of the situation.

"Boss's daughter. False alarm everyone."

The man turned and went back to the camera room. The Batmen and women eyed her. They didn't know why she just couldn't join the corporation and get a badge so she wouldn't set off the alarm every time she set foot in their quarters. But, protocol was protocol. She had connections that made everyone else's lives here in Batman Incorporated a little more miserable.

As the men and women dispatched one particular Batman stood his ground. Arms crossed, head cocked, eyeing Nicole.

"And to what do we owe this visit from the great Dawn Bat? Wanna suck more resources from us or something? This ain't the first time you did this to us."

And this wasn't their first encounter either. Nicole has had petty fights with this certain Batman operative, they would insult and badmouth each other around the streets of Gotham when she was around. Though he wasa jerk, he was only a jerk to Nicole. And the best thing was that she didn't know who he was; and that bugged the crap out of her.

"I'd stay and play a little longer, but i'm not feeling well." the gnome said as he felt several bullets slam into his shoulders and legs. "adios coppers!" he said as he barely managed to reach for another gnome, attempting to blow a hole in the ground and flee into the sewers. the gnome wasn't even halfway out of his bag before he collapsed from the sheer volume of gunshot wounds on his body. "Well....this d-didn't go as i hoped." The Gnome said before he fell to the ground in an unconcsious heap.

"Drat, i missed them!" Cygnus said as he stopped himself from knocking on the door. It would have been pointless to knock for the titans anyway, everyone in the lobby would have looked at him like he had lost his mind. He flipped open his communicator to see where the titans were and sure enough, they were off somewhere else on a mission. "Well, might as well find something to do in the meantime." He said as he ducked into an alleyway, changed out of his armor into some casual clothes, stowed his armor in his backpack, and began his stroll down the street.

[I apologize for my posts being few and far between. If you guys need a secondary outlet, Both Mercy and Robin have exciting RPs that are just opening, why not join one of them?]

Tim looked about his students, making sure everyone was gathered. He had already made with the introductions earlier, so he figured it wasn't nesecary. "Since you've all seen these, I have no doubt you know what's next." he said, pointing out the outfits. "Everybody get yours and suit up, we've got a loooooooot to do today." He said. He didn't have a ton of time to whip these kids into Titans, so the sooner the better. Izzy spared no time in procuring his suit and quickly scurrying off to his room to change. His suit's specifications were geared around defensive abilities- Prometheum plates, lightweight Kevlar mesh suit, and a crash helmet that would endure all but the most powerful of hits. In the mirror, he couldn't help but notice it's striking resemblance to a figure he'd seen plenty of times in the news before- one Deathstroke the terminator. But he coked it up to conincidence, and added the final touch by clipping his mother's sword to the bandolier slungh around his shoulders. He then bolted back to the training room where the rest of his team was also gradually coming in and out with their suits.

When Tim was sure the whole group had been assembled, he adressed them again. "Looks like everyone is ready. First things first, I want to see what you're all capable of, right here, right now." he pressed a button on a wall pannel, and several alcoves opened up along the wall, revealing white, crash dummy like drones. They had no AI- just a series of scanners and pre- loaded routines to recognize the trainee's moves and compute the best possible counter. "This excersize is simple- hit the center plate on the drone to shut it off. You're free to use your powers and whatnot to do it, but treat it as you would a rel person, so don't utterly anihalate the things." He intructed. There was one drone for each student, so it would be one- on one fighting. Each drone locked on to a titan, and lifted it's arms in a somewhat basic fighting stance. "What're you waiting for? Go!" TIm said, initiating the excersize.

Right out of the gate, Izzy didn't hold back on his drone. Ever since he could curl a fist, his grandfather had taught him how to defend himself- which came in handy more then once, seeing as how he got the crap beaten out of him at times due to his unwatted relation to his father. He swung what initially looked like a sloppy kick at it, but it was easily intercepted- just like he planned. The moment the drone grabbed his leg, he jumped up with his other foot and slammed it into the drone's ceenter plate, KOing the machine as he dropped to the ground from the intertia. It wasn't an easy move to pull off, but it proved effective in catching the drone of gaurd...

Shouting and screaming, the police held their fire but still had their handguns trained on him. Ambulance pulled up, not for The Gnome but for several victims he had taken. S.W.A.T. Pulled up and began to slowly approach his body as he lay flat on the ground, in case he was trying to pull anything. They took his pulse. "Still alive! Get an ambulance for this guy!" One of the S.W.A.T. members yelled over his shoulder to the police as other S.W.A.T. carefully picked up the weapons used by the Gnome.

"This guy wanted to be gunned down or something?"

Batman uncrossed his arms as several operatives came through the Square Entrance. "How do... I know that Batman Incorporated has more resources than you?" he asked a little offended and sarcastically. "You're a Lone Wolf baby, look around you, we're a whole army of Batmen. We got supercomputers that are ten years ahead of our times, hackers in each major city of the United States of America, we have security rooms, holding cells, test labs, shooting galleries, training centers, detectiveware, observatories, hell! We manufacture our own freaking equipment! Of course we have more resources than you! So wipe that smug smile off your face and tell me what you need or why you came." He demanded showing off the impressive Batcave that had been built by many secret operatives. The accomplishment of the Batcave could have been the eighth wonder of the world in a sense. An enormous screen, the size of a billboard, towered over them, several windows open, attached to the Supercomputer that was nicknamed: The Batcomputer by Bruce Wayne himself. The Batcave was filled with Bats. And not the flying mammal either.

Zero let out a sigh. 'Here we go again...' He desperateley wanted his psychology paper to be about the woman before him, he really did. "yup, she's doing just fine, from what I can see." he said, making mental notes that he doubted what was in her IV bag was approved by any kind of clinical institution. He could've andvanced on the points that Gotham and metropolis weren't in different time zones, that he didn't live in metropolis to begin with, or that there was a baby crying in the other room, but he figured he needed to stay focused. "You promised Casey a month ago, nobody knew what was going to happen then. How long are you willing to keep her in your basement, hm? How long CAN you? And what if Falcon comes back? You going to fight him off in your condition?" He felt bad about slamming her with fact after fact, but it was for everyone's good if Karmy was put somewhere more secure and better equiped to take care of her. Here, she was vulnerable, and not receving a franction of the care she could be. Besides, Alice was NOT a security force, she couldn't keep her safe if assasins found Karmy again. If keeping everyone safe meant he had to say some harsh reality, then he'd unload a whole arsenal of it if he had to.

Being about two and a half feet tall and in the presence of squabbling adults had one advantage; you went pretty much entireley ignored, through and through. One Davis Roper had accompanied his father, nameley because he wanted to see his little cousin and had been so persitant in seeing him that his father finally submitted. He wasn't stupid, he was well aware of the bad things that had happened to his family, and as kids do, his every question was how they were. As the adults made on with their conversation he didn't really pay a lick of attention to, he simply trotted into the house, being EXTRA careful to make sure Alice didn't see him. He didn't like that woman at ALL- she never seemed happy about anything, and nobody that grouchy can be pleasant company. He followed the sounds of the baby crying untill he found his cousin. he wasn't really sure what to do from this point- he wasn't an adult, taking care of babies was a job often delegather to them. So he just kind of looked with a somewhat confused face.....

John looked at Dommino out of the corner of his eye. "That's classified information, missy. Last thing we need is everyone to know." He said with significant irritation. Of course Dommino could probably easily get that info out of President Roper, she drusted Dom. "As for the REST of you" He returned his gaze to the group. "I'm sure you know where we're going with all of this. At 2000 hours, we've got orders to bust OMAR Labs (OMAR= Orion Medical and Research) wide open. This is a high level incident, if we can pull this off and get some dirt on OMAR, it's be a big ass step forward." He reported. "Now, anybody got a bloody vag they care to share?" He snorted.

Between Terry behind her and suddenly hearing the sound of distant gunfire, Chey practically leapt straight into a tree. "Jeezum- Terry!" She said, quickly regaining herself and prettending to not be as startled as she was. "Any idea what that was?" She asked, eager to get out of Terry possibly pointing out that he got her and got her good, and being naturally curious as to what was going down.

Re: Teen Titans: Generations

Post by Tizmael on 5/4/2011, 2:39 pm

It was safe to say Sullivan had been pleased when Tim showed up. Nice and expedient, she liked propriety in a leader. She had leaned off the wall, having no need to get a suit, as she constructed her own. She walked towards the center of the room, stopping just short of it, still staying a ways off from those that remained. She uncrossed her arms as the others returned wearing their suits, running the knuckles of her left hand against her palm, her eagerness betrayed by the tiny tell.

When Tim mentioned ‘showing their stuff’ Sullivan felt a small smile twist up her features, her toned shoulders rolling a few times as the test dummies locked on to their opponent. Her own test dummy adjusted itself into a fighting stance she recognized, although she was not particularly versed in it herself, she knew it well enough to feel comfortable. So instead of lifting her ring and plunging a green construct boxing glove into the center panel, she lifted her fists and got into a boxing stance, head cocked to the side as a smug smirk plastered itself on her normally frowning mouth.

This exercise was to show their leader what they were made of, what they could do, not a competition to see who could off the thing fastest. Sullivan was going to take her sweet time; it had been awhile since she had boxed. Sullivan shifted from one foot to the other, her right placed in front, both feet a shoulder length apart to give her a wider, more stable stance.

She could already feel the cracks in her defense, it’d been too long since she had actually had to consider stance in fighting. She had been relying on her ring too much, either that or just flat out brawling which required no skill. Sullivan jerked towards the dummy, closing the space between herself and it as she lowered her right fist so that her forearm rested on her hip, her wrist facing upwards as she used her body to throw the upper cut at the dummies head.

It moved to block her, it’s arms moving down to smack her fist out of its designated path into the dummy’s face. Instead of trying to muscle her way through the dummy’s block, Sullivan Brought her left arm around, swinging it around to smack the dummy in the head with the side of her forearm. The head snapped to the side, before jerking the other way as her right fist had pulled back during the left’s attack and struck again.

The dummy reeled but straightened soon enough, aiming programmed moves at the athletic teen, even as she weaved and jabbed to avoid the robotic motions. Sullivan made sure to always avoid the KO panel, seeing how close she could get to hitting it without triggering it, or how many times she could punch the head before it reeled again. She wasn’t being overly brutal, it really seemed like she was enjoying it as a casual romp. Humoring the dummy as she went out of her way to simply block the moves instead of dodging them.

Sullivan was in her own little world, her opponent and her; the little sparring match taking up all of her attention as time was lost on her. She took a few hits, enjoying the pressure and discomfort it caused. Not due to any masochistic tendencies; no. She felt people who liked pain were pretty much retarded, but she did love to fight, and what kind of fight was it if she never got hit?

Sullivan just took her sweet time, regardless of the others about her. She’d end it if their leader requested it, but short of Tim piping up she didn’t plan on decimating that KO panel any time soon.

Oracle of course did catch Davis walk in, training like she has back in the day was sort of like riding a bicycle. You never let any of that go. Though things such as no-names like Falcon or high-class assassains didn't mean anything to Oracle. She didn't even know why they would be after Karmy in the first place. It didn't add up. She has been living by herself in Alaska for years and did nothing to interact with the outside world; why would assassains be out for her head anyway? She's been underground for years.

"Have you ever got beaten up by a cripple?"

Sure it was sort of unrelated but she wanted to prove she was tough even in a wheelchair. Oracle said it directly and without stuttering. She had to sell it with her eyes. She had to say 'even if it did occur that assassins broke in, I can still put them in a body cast.'

Terry looked around. The streets were filled with sirens and screams. "Whatever it is; it's not our responsibility. Other people have it under control." Terry of course wasn't around when such sounds were serious problems. Things have changed in Gotham. Barbara had changed the police, and Dick had changed the Legend of the Night.

Zero was 500,000,000% unimpressed. In the wars, he'd stared down some pretty gruesome people. A dirty look from Alice? hardly intimidating. "That's NOT an answer." He snapped, probably a bit more harshly then he intended to. But this was old- his sister was stuffed in Alice's basement. If this was anyone, ANYONE, else, he would've simply gotten the law involved and that would be that- even Dick wouldn't be able to help her if he did. But he DID owe Alice for 16 years ago, and she was best friends with Karmy, so he had to trust her.

Chey let out a sigh. "It's just not possible for me to come to gotham without someone getting shot, is it?" She asked jokingly, quite vividly recalling the last time she was here and running into that fruitloop Onnomatopoeia. How the heck he got released from prison was far beyond her. Far, FAR beyond her.

"Pft. You're just saying that cause you don't want to get beaten up." Oracle smirked, leaning back in her wheelchair. "Anyway get your kid outta my house and get off my property." Yes. Oracle turned into one of those people. She even began to reach behind her chair for her boomstick. Yeah. Those people. She couldn't recall any promise she made to Casey, the only thing she remembers was calling him a pussy that night cause he almost fainted when Oracle was tending to her wounds.

Terry sighed, he just wanted to spend some quality time with his girlfriend. "It's an occupational hazard. Wanna get a coffee or something?" he said desperate to switch the subject.

Zero let out a sigh as she prepared to chase him out. Again. And once more, he had a good mind ot teleport the Bay's out with him. But once again, he was reminded of who he was dealing with and decided against it. This time. "You know, you never do answer me..." he replied, before him and Davis vanished in a pair of scarlet flashes of light. He'd be back, to be sure. If there was one thing a WWIII vetran had in no short supply, it was persistance....

Chey nodded, eager to change the topic. "That sounds good right about now." She replied, winding her arm around his. It was the relaxing days like this that made those violent nights in the suit bearable.

Oracle used both of her hands to wipe her hair out of her face. "And don't show your face here again."

The Batman huffed as if he was impressed by Nicole's gall to ask for resources after asking who had more resources than who and turned around to lead Nicole down to the records room, where cameras, high definition satellite images were stored, news paper clippings, video articles from news broadcasting from all around the works was stored.

"C'mon we're going to central. Let's go Princess."

Sitting down holding Cheyenne's hand over steaming white mugs of coffee in Johnny Foams, Terry looked into Cheyenne's eyes. "It's been a crazy week here in Gotham. You got in town... What last night? And you already got into a tiff with the glowing green giant? Man that's a load of slag." He said then looking away. Where had the time went? He himself was getting himself tangled into constant fights with Inque lately as well and they never had the time to sit down for a mug of coffee.

(Crappy post)

Now Recon wasn't as well trained as Izzy or Sully, but that didn't mean he didn't know how to defend himself. He just had never actually sparred with someone other than his father or mother. This would prove to be a challenge for the young man. Now in his uniform, he tightened his head band and made sure his bag was secure before tenor around to face his robotic opponent. Sliding into a firm fighting stance, he did a quick assessment of the situation.

Taller by about half a foot, weak spot on front, keep To close quarter combat. Recon thought to himself. If he really wanted to, he could just easily create a portal and turn the machine off from here, but he wouldn't. He was here to prove himself. Making the first move, he ran at the robot and sent a hook-shot straight into it's face. Only to be blocked. "Crud." pushed back hard to the ground, he quickly recovered and pushed off the ground with his hands, kicking at it's legs.

Succeeding in at least causing it to lose it's balance, Recon ran full at the robot and grabbed it around the waist, using all his weight to smash it against the floor. This move cost him when a metallic fist bashed against his skull, knocking him off the assailant. Grunting in pain, Recon quickly stood up, only to see the robot coming at him again. Teeth bared, he reached into his bag and withdrew a aluminum bat. With a frustrated cry of anger, he charged the machine.

When he was no more than five feet away, Recon fell to the ground and slid underneath the robot, dragging the bat behind him to trip it up. Quickly snapping his fingers, he fell through a portal, which had opened up above the area. With another outcry of rage, he drove the bat deep into his opponents chest. Standing over his fallen enemy, he glared down at it, breathing heavily...

Dommino growled at their new leader, but kept her mouth shut, for now... Crossing her arms, she leaned back against the wall, giving John a look that could kill. Her frown grew at the mention of OMAR. She had felt with them in the past, when the team was a whole lot better. She wasn't fond of them, they fought dirty. "You're the only one with a bloody vag, Johny Boy..." she muttered rudely.

Jaime's crying had only increased when Davis had been in the room, and they still continued when he was gone. The poor baby was teething bad and his gums hurt greatly.

Tim made careful note on the speed at which Izzy had incapacitated his drone. That wasn't an easy move to pull off, he probably had more practice then he thought. He also saw Sully duking it out with her drone. She could probably have easily used her ring to KO it easily, but he respected that she was testing her physical prowess. Aurellia seemed to not have TOO much trouble with her drone either, but Apollo had effectiveley beaten the tar out of his drone. Probably a bit excess, he'd have to work on him with that. Lyan seemed to be having mroe difficulty with his drone, he'd work with him a bit more also.

Rex.... Was doing what looked like a vain effort to just club the thing with his cannon. He brobably didn't want to just shoot it, that would be too easy, and using the suit's strength to just plow the thing into mush would be just as much of a cheap way out. He had combat training from his dad, but he obviously wasn't used to fighting in the suit. Again, something he'd have to work on. The Twins looked like they hadn't done much with their drones as of yet, and his gaze fell to Casey. he looked like he'd really gotten into it, berhaps a bit too much. But he had to cut the boy slack, he was going through a rough time right now.

Tim waited for everyone to finish off their drones before the next step.

"Yeah, he slags and he slags hard." Chey confessed, stretching her arms, and blowing some off the steam off of her mug. It was no secret that neither of them had any love for Blight nor his rat of a boss, Derek Powers. "What about you? Heard you and little miss slagpuddle have been butting heads a lot lateley." She asked Terry. It had been a while since they'd had the opportunity to catch up like this, so she was keen on hearing how Terry had been.

Terry took a zip from his frothy coffee, he had been really tired as of late, he hadn't been home in days, and he was happy to see how private the coffee joint was at the moment. He set his mug down and quickly yawned to get it all out.

"I've been trying to find a pattern in Inque's attacks but she seems to be just busting place to place at random. She isn't working for anyone now; she seems to be by herself. It's not her usual M.O. On top of that I've been the local babysitter for The Graysons and that itself is a full-time job. Their kids are good kids it's just that they're such a handful I can barely get any time to myself. Which is why I'm glad we're here. I want to work with you again. If I have to fight any crazy psycho trigger happy wackos, or drug addicted slapper freaks, I'd like to do it with you by my side."

Whispering to her and noticing the coffee shop was gradually filling, he leaned closer to her in just a subtle attempt to make the conversation more private.

Chey was flattered beyond flattered by Terry's request. And she agreed- you could only spend so many violent nights alone before you begged to be back with your partner. Even though there were other Batman Inc. operatives in Bludhaven, none of them were Terry. She quickly leaned over and pressed her lips to Terry's cheek in the form of a quick peck. "I'd been thinking the same thing. You can only fight so many battles alone." She confessed in agreement. "I'll talk to bossman about a transfer. I'd really like to work together again." She said.

Batman looked behind his shoulder to glance at Nicole and he scoffed as he approached a door on the records room and punched in a code on the door. "Look, whatever. If you need any more information of references don't bother me. I've got business at the lab. You can go to our Rouges Gallery down the main left hall. And puh-leez! Don't bug me pumpkin, every time you open your mouth I think a part of my dies." The Batman turned on his heel and walked down in the opposite direction.

Terry nearly blushed, though it wasn't the first time he was kissed, it certainly did seem like the first time seeing how long he's been away from women his age. The reason he broke up with Dana was because he could have a more constant relationship that didn't include keeping any secrets from anyone.

"This is so schway. I can't believe how long we've been apart. Oh! That reminds me, where's your mom these days? I hadn't seen her in a long time."

"Why can't you say 8:00pm? You got some sort of brain damage or something? Furthermore what the hell do we do until then?" Reaper asked resting his hand on his handgun and relaxing his tense stance when directing his attention at his new leader. "Do we just sit around picking our noses? And ain't it lunch time already? What do we get to eat? I'm starving. Hadn't had a bite in days, I think my stomach is actually caving in."

Charlotte Birdsong wrote:Man... Reaper can really talk fast. I mean geez he talks so fast he doesn't even wait for anyone to answer his questions... and I've been practicing that!

Re: Teen Titans: Generations

"Easy enough." The twins said in unison before heading to their separate spots.

Blizzard faced her dummy and threw a few weak punches, trying to get a feel of how it moved and reacted. She didn't have any water to use an icy weapon, which meant she'd have to make due with wind force. Something told her air wouldn't have much effect on the bot. But, if I use it to propel myself a few extra feet in the air... She thought, and jumped. In odd little skips and jumps, she threw herself upward with air before falling towards the bot, aiming to kick it. She missed by inches and swerved back to avoid the bot's response hit. She really was better with water. I don't have many options so... The girl bounced back up and readied to hit again.
---
"Fat chance. It's not a real person, right?" Heatwave muttered to herself, facing the bot with a scoff. She didn't care what Tim had said. A robot was a robot. It wouldn't hurt for her to burn it up a little, even if they were pretending it was a person. She'd burn a person to if she had no other choice.

With the flip of her hand, a ball of fire encased her hand. Without a second thought, she hurled it at the dummy. She missed and it's head grew flames. She quickly extinguished the fire, and readied to fire again, this time a little lower. She hit the pressure bar and grinned maliciously; she achieved her objective and didn't see any need to calm the flames now. The pyromaniac just let it burn.

Tim let out a sigh as Heatwave lit her sparring drone on fire. He had a feeling this lil' maniac need a bit of a restraint lesson herself. But he figured he'd adress that when everyone was finished...

Chey couldn't help but indulge in a smile when she saw Terry's face redden. Even after being apart for so long, she still got a kick out of making him blush. But she quickly pulled herself together after hearing Terry's question about Nicole"Hm, mom?" Chey asked. "Last I heard, She was going to be in the city soon. Probably to get info on the Dent case, or rough up Uncle Fathead." Of course, uncle fathead was her pet name for Jason Todd. He had the distinction of being the first person she ever fought as Blue- J, alongside her mom.

Re: Teen Titans: Generations

Blizzard started to get nervous. Already, her sister and Lyan had deactivated their bots and Sullivan was having no trouble at all. In fact, Sullivan seemed to just be toying with her dummy.

And here she was having trouble. Her dummy was a little roughed up, but she hadn't managed to hit the pressure plate completely. She had managed to tap the edges but not once had she managed a direct hit. She was just about to ask if she could get a glass of water-as a weapon, not to drink- when her sister noticed her trouble.

Heatwave coughed and mouthed the word, "Kitchen."

One of Blizzard's few talents over Heatwave was using elements she couldn't directly see. Heatwave always needed to see the flame to be able to control it. If Blizzard knew where it was, she could use it. And in her exploration, she had found a kitchen.

Sploosh.

There was a good chance she had just burst a pipe of some sort in gaining the water, but still. A small orb of water- about the size of her palm- drifted in through the training room door, and in seconds Canace had transformed it into a weapon and shot the pressure plate.

Bulls-eye.

"Alright!" Heatwave gave Blizzard a high five. Blizzard smiled, and hoped it didn't count as cheating that Heatwave had helped her, or the fact the water wasn't with her. It never occurred to her to carry water around-she figured she'd have it anywhere. The victory was short-lived as she noticed her sister's dummy.

"Hey, Cal?"
"Yeah."
"Your dummy...It's...kinda on fire."
"I like it better that way."

"Jason Todd?"

Terry eyed Cheyenne carefully. If there was one thing be knew about Jason Todd he was the worst in the Wayne children. Shooting brothers in the chest bad. Stabbing brothers through the chest with a knife.

"What would Jason Todd know? What could he possibly know?"

It was strange. He just seemed to be a meat head to him, he couldn't know any vital information could he?
