Alice eagerly looked upon Karmy then at Astro. "If I keep up in this hero business there will be way too many people I owe my life to." Alice said to him.

Batgirl angry and frustrated wanted to go after Dick, the crowd was gone and she felt really tempted to, but she knew she wasn't fit. Dizzy, Batgirl slumped next to Alice, Astro, Cassius, and Karmy.

Damian looked up into Gotham's sky. "Dammit. I hate the rain." He said walking to where The group of heroes were at. "You just know that recycled toilet fluids are washing down on you in Gotham." he explained to Nicole, certainly giving a new look on rain to her.

The police stood outside the light rain in their coats in front of the police station. Batman approached them, his hands raised in the air, he took off his cowl in front of them and tossed it at their feet as he got to the proper distance. "Cuff em." Commissioner of Police Arnold Flass ordered. Bard looked at Bat uneasily and did as he was told. Dick Grayson was lead into a small cell adjacent from Wintergreen's. "Glad to see you made it back in one piece sir." He sighed. "You too Wintergreen. Trials start tomorrow. They seem eager to put me in Arkham." Dick replied. "I know they will try their best to. You know of their claims of you and Nicole I take it?" Wintergreen asked. "Yeah. I'm already thinking of my defense."

Karmy was long gone, her had stumped pumping so blood, however much left there was in her body, no longer flowed out. Her skin was ghostly white, well, she was dead after all. As Astro laid his hands upon Karmys bag, a strange gray glow began to flicker over it the olive green material and Karmy's closed eyes.

Astro shook his head, "You don't owe me a thing." He replied to Alice firmly, picking through the bag gingerly. Finally, his hands came across what he needed. Or, more than what he needed.

Two flickering orbs came into view in his hands. Souls. One a flickering cool silvery gray, never changing, constant. It radiated energy. The other, more excited and boundless, changing colors every which way. Only bright colors, he noticed, lemony yellows and fiery reds. That one, the colorful one, had to be Karmy, he thought. And that was that, he decided, slipping the other one back where he had found it,

The body was still in terrible condition, he knew, far too horrid for the soul. It would take a bit of healing before he dare attempt a soul transfer. Especially one as tricky as this one was proving to be, the soul leaping and prancing in his grip. His mind was still on what he had realized-his own lifeforce energy and it's extra helping- and it took a burden off his head to know he could heal her without anyone but himself being injured.

Keeping a cautious but tight grip on the soul, his free hand pressed itself to Karmy's wrist. The usual electrifying surge of power flowed through Astro and into her. The wounds closed themselves, blood and skin slowly regenerating. Even her vividly colored hair gained a healthier, lush look to it. A sharp cracking sound filled the air as bones rebuilt themselves. The only injury he failed to remove was likely that scar, permanently embedded in her forehead.

Weary as hell, the blonde boy took a small shaky breath before proceeding. It had taken more out of him than expected. Not a problem. He urged himself, ignoring the pounding in his forehead. He held up the soul and pushed it against her torso. It easily phased in.

Color rushed back into her cheeks; A faint heartbeat slowly beginning.

Astro collapsed backwards, pointing to Karm. The small gesture was all he could manage before falling asleep.

A twitch of a finger, a fluttering of the eyes, and a gasp escaped the body. "No.." Karmys voice said, but.. "No!" Sitting up, she clenced her fists and slammed them into the ground, already freaking out. "NO! DAMMIT!" she gripped her head in frustration and looked around at the people around her. "NO!!" she staggered up. Alice laid a hand on Karmy's shoulder. "Karmy, calm down, why are yo-" Karmy shrugged it off. "I'm not Karmy, Alice!" she turned to face the group. Something was different about her, the red streaks in her hair had turned green. "I'm Casey!"

"What the hell..?" Alice asked in confusion. She felt a her heart that was on her sleeve crash back down, her chest hurt and caved in on the pain. "Casey!? What are you doing in your sister's body!?" Alice demanded. "And how the hell does it feel being in a chick's body?" Damian asked curiously.

Karmy, er.. Casey in Karmy's body sucker punched Damian in the face as hard as he could. "If you even THINK of doing or asking anything like that, I will make sure you end up in the middle of Antarctica!" he hissed and turned back to Alice. "I don't know, all I know is that I was.. Dead, and now I'm in my sister's body." he looked over at Astro. "A shaman? He must have grabbed my soul instead of Karmy's." he groaned and sat on the floor. "This is the second time I've been brought to life.."

Astro is out cold.

Ivy clamped a hand over her mouth in utter shock. "But if you're...And she's... What the hell?!" She cried, unable to handle this much insanity in the last twenty four hours. "Somebody wake Astro up, he's gotta fix this. No offense to you Casey, but something tells me you'd rather be...uh, dead..."

Re: The Darkest of Knights

"Damn, I was just asking how it felt." Damian muttered rubbing his eye under his mask. Oh right.. He's Red X.

"So what do we do?" Alice asked. "Obviously the two souls were intertwined in the bag and since there was only one vessel with the Anderson gene or spirit available, Astro mixed it up on the assumption of the colors of the souls. I'm going on a wild hunch and saying since Casey died happy his soul was more colorful, and since Karmy died... Well by .. Well... Uhh.. When Karmy died by Slade.. Her soul was.. Yeah. So it was more gray." Alice pondered. "So what do we do with you Casey? We can't do anything until Astro wakes up.. Do you want to roam Gotham to help stop what's been going on?" Alice offered. It seemed to her that Casey was more levelheaded than Karmy. It could be a plus for all she knew. Existentially of course. Casey could never replace Karmy.

Batgirl in the middle of all of this passed out from the dizziness and lack of blood. She needed medical attention along with Astro. They needed to head back to the Batcave as soon as possible.

Rose crept up to Cyrah. "You're going to find my father? Aren't you?" She asked her. "I'm coming."

"None taken, Ivy. I would rather be dead, it's supposed to be that way." Casey sighed. "And it looks like I have no choice. The only other person that I could think of to help us is the man who gave us the bag.. But I have no idea where he is." he stood up. "It looks like y'all are having quite the load of problems." he speculated.

Cassius stared at Carmy [Casey+Karmy] like he/she had an extra batch of heads. Around Karmy he had certaintly HEARD plenty about Casey, but never really met him except for breifly two years ago. as he continued to observe Carmy, he noticed something else. "Aw sh*t, where did Sarah go?" He asked, glancing around to se eif she had jsut melted into the crowd or something......

Zero, on the other hand, knew Casey QUITE well, the two having spent four years together. "Damn man, is that you?" He asked, finding it a tad odd to be encountering his friend in his other freind's body. Well, freid wasn't as probably correct of a term as cousin anymore. Friendly cousins. Frusins.

Cyrah looked at Rose with her remaining eye. "You sure you want to do that? I plan to KILL that man." She asked coming to a halt. She secretly wanted Rose to come- she needed a wingman, someone she could rely on, someone that would be there with her. But at the same time she didn't want to drag her Father or Brother in- Dad had enough on his plate with Karmy's death, and Matty wouldn't let her do soemthing like get her vengance.......

"Well you can't kill him. Not alone at least, and it looks like you need another eyeball." Rose said pointing out that they each had only one eye. She wiped off the oncoming rain and nodded to Cyrah.

Alice picked up Batgirl and eyed Casey. "Technically, both of you are supposed to be dead." Alice corrected Casey. "C'mon Luna. Teleport us back."

Damian lightly punched Nicole's shoulder. "I thought you were on my side." He muttered.

Rose could help but be a tiny bit glad that Rose wanted to come. "Thanks." Cyrah said, grateful. as the rain drizzled down, the blood ebgan to wash off of Cyrah's armor. It wiped it off physically, but the blood was something that would remain in her nightmares for years. A staunch reminder of why she was setting out to get Slade in the first place. "You're probably more familiar with how Slade acts then I am- any idea where he would scurry off to?" She asked Rose.

Cassius nodded. "Yeah, we gotta get out of here- standing around here with our thumbs in our butts isn't going to do us any good, especially if the cops or newscrews show up." he said in agreement. He figured that Sarah was a big girl, and could get back to the bunker if need be.

(Carmy? Ha! Nice Red XD)

"Hey Lust- I mean Zero. Yeah it's me, guess I'm not allowed to stay dead, no matter how much I want to be." Carmy shrugged. "You have no idea how weird this is.." looking down at Astro, he hoped that he would wake up soon. "But, I have a feeling that if I want to get Karmy back in her body, I'm going to have to die again. Ah well, guess that's just how the cookie crumbles." he felt a bit awkward in his sisters body, after all, who wouldn't? "I can portal us to where we need to go." he said, picking up his bag and crossing it over his shoulder.

"No you can't." Alice told Carmy. "You don't know what the Batcave looks like. You might be using her brain, but you obviously don't have Karmy's memories." She felt weird just discussing the chromatic spectrum of their souls, talking in the fourth dimension as Doc in Back to the Future put it, certainly was an interesting way of talking. But to put it short, Carmy didn't know what the first Batcave looked like, there's no reason he should know what the new Batcave looked like. "Its best if we have Luna teleport us." Alice uttered and threw her hair back as rain began to pour harder.

"I don't know Gotham, but I know my dad would most likely went to take refuge in a hideout somewhere." Rose explained. "If you can pick up a trail... Say you're not a detective like Batman are you? Certainly would help."

Carmy picked himself off the ground and dusted off. "You don't think I know my own sister?" he reached into the bag and, after searching around for a moment, he pulled out a picture. It was the picture of the Batcave, "I told her how to do this. Visualization is the key." on the back of the picture, Karmy had written down details such as latitude, longitude, the name, measurements and various others bits and pieces. "I helped her get her powers controlled, and I know how to use them." he sighed. "She's out there somewhere..."

Pictures. Evidence. Keys. Get Dick out of Jail. Journal Entries. Alice took the liberty to take Karmy's bag and search for her camera. She pulled it out and searched through the pictures and saved any with the Bats in it. Ryan, the previous boyfriend of Nicole, she would have to contact him, her mind was now set on trying to get Dick off the hook. Now as Batman, this caped crusader worked with the police. His name has been cleared of the murder of Commissioner Gordon. Maybe some of the officers would help out. Bard would be a witness because of Barbara. While her mind was somewhere else Alice responded to Carmy; "I assume if you knew her well you'd at least land properly when being teleported." Alice carried Batgirl and Astro into the medical center. "Someone keep an eye on these two. Batgirl seems to have a bad case with the clinic. She was hung from a noose and last time Karmy bit her hand until it broke."

"Can I have that back, please?" Carmy held out his hand for the bag. "Asking next time would be a little bit nicer. It was originally my bag, and I gave it to Karmy for a reason. And sorry that I've been dead for the past two years, coming back to life after that long of a period takes a little bit of getting used to. Especially in a different body." he still wasn't comfortable, he probably never would be, in his sisters body.

Alice eyed Carmy. "No." She said slinging the bag over her own shoulder. "Evidence." She stuffed the camera back into it's proper pocket. She felt deceived that Karmy wasn't actually Karmy. She hated it, she hated him.

"I don't know, if you're going to drop on me every time we teleport I think I can get use to it." Red X smiled under his mask.

Carmy narrowed his eyes and snapped his fingers. Landing in front of Alice, he crossed his arms and looked at her. "Do you know why that bag is important to Karmy?" he asked, holding his stance just incase anything happened. "Why she goes through so much to make sure it is safe?"

"You're going to give me some self-righteous speech about how much you mean to Karmy or some bullshit talk about what you've done. Not interested." Alice said to Carmy and walked past her to the Batcomputer to open several files.

"No, I don't intend on glorifying myself. That's just beyond selfish." Carmy followed her but didn't try to take the bag, he knew that if he did that, things would be very sour between the two. "All I'm trying to say that you should know how much that bag means to Karmy. I think this scar on her back proves that." while under the riegn on the Black Mask, he had learned a lot about Karmy from Zero. Everything he had missed.

"Don't care. Go away. Work." Alice said typing away furiously on the keyboard bringing up different profiles of separate villains.

"Very well. But you won't be talking." Alice assured Carmy. "And you don't want to tempt me." Alice said lifting G.O.D. out of the bag. She would glue his mouth shut for sure, use the substance that takes of G.O.D. later when Karmy came back. There was no way Carmy could fight back, just returning to life and not being use to her sister's body, Alice could easily overcome Carmy. On top of that, even if he was use to her body, Alice was just more trained than Karmy. She put G.O.D. back away and began typing once again to see if she could hack into the files and see what she could do to help Dick.

"Hey, are you pissed at me or something?" Red X asked Robin, "Or is the scandal getting at you?" he wondered bringing his legs in and hugging his knees.

Astro is still out cold.

Ivy managed to land, though wobbling, on her feet. "You'd think we'd be used to that by now." She muttered, watching others fall from the teleporting. She watched Carmy with a mix of curiosity and confusion. There it was, he...she...It looked like Karmy, it sounded like Karmy, but it wasn't Karmy. "How is stuff like this even possible?" She asked nobody in particular, amazed at this zany outcome. Only to them could something like this have happened. Only to them.
