Hmm, depends on who's rogue's gallery you wanted to borrow from.
Superman's Rogues
Spoiler:

  1. Kalibak, Darkseid's much underplayed son. He wants nothing more than to make his father proud, but to quote Darkseid "As far as destiny and I are concerned I have no son." could be a great Superboy-Superman parallel. Something with him attacking Superboy specifically, then a nice little exchange SB: "Why are you doing this?" Kal: "I do this for my father!" SB: "Your father?" fails to pay attention to the fight and takes a hard blow to the face or other body part critically injuring him.

  2. Any one of the elemental villains in Superman's Rogue's gallery. Livewire is and controls electricity, she has to charge up periodically though and doesn't agree with water, she could have some interesting interactions with Aqualad. Volcana has similar powers, only with fire, a bonus if you want to keep MM and AL at arms length, she can only really be defeated by having oxygen cut off so her powers don't work, Kid Flash could probably do it with a cyclone but it'd take some kind of inspiration to get him to do something that smart. Flash would think of it right off, and then you could have some good KF kicking himself for not thinking of it earlier before his friends were hurt.

  3. Toyman could make a pretty creepy villain, plus he could make some jokes about the Young Justice team just being teen versions of the real heroes, since that's basically what they are and it's a pretty common thing from the kind of shows he'd watch. I'm remembering Baby Muppets, Tiny Toons, and all that sort of thing. Robin & Superboy would have some issues learning to take his weapons (like his dartgun) serious. (They explode like hand grenades) All his stuff is made to look like plain old toys, but act with a deadly twist.

  4. Parasite is always a good guy to throw at young inexperienced teams. He drains abilities and memories on touch. He's after Superman cause he basically gets high off of touching him, he's got Superman-envy. But one hug from Superboy and he's got all the Kid Kryptonian's powers, another touch of MM and he can shape shift like her. He'll also grab their memories, which could do some nice play for taunting. 'oh you're not Superman's kid, you're just a lab rat.' etcetera

  5. Atomic Skull, a little known Superman-rogue who got more play in the Justice League cartoon than in the Superman one. He used to be an average dude but he got irradiated by an alien explosive, then jumped by some muggers. The resulting psychological and physical trauma's left him to take on the guise of "The Atomic Skull" who was a hero from an old movie serial that he loved. He emits dangerous amounts of radiation. He believed Superman to be the serial's villain Doctor Electron, and Lois Lane, to be the Skull's love interest, Zelda Wentworth.

Super strong and radioactive, the heat-sensitive heroes would have serious issues fighting him, plus he's gone toe to toe with Superman, Superboy would have his own issues.

  6. Black Adam or his brother in law Osiris would also work, neither of them are really 'Superman Rogues' they're really from Captain Marvel's gallery, but Adam is equally as powerful as Superman, without that pesky vulnerability to magic, (Kryptonian's and magic get along about as well as oil and water) and Osiris is basically his Superboy equivalent, only again better trained and with a healthy relationship with his mentor.

  7. Mr. Mxyzptlk is a great plot device villain, he can basically do whatever he wants because he's a superior being from a superior state of existence. The difference between him and us is something similar to the difference between us and a stick figure. He used to torment Superman cause he thought the big S was funny, but since his 'games' had to have rules if he says his name backward he goes back to his home reality for a period of time, Superman eventually got him to do this two times in a row and Mxyzptlk swore not to mess with him ever again. Superboy on the other hand he's sworn no such thing to. Plus SB doesn't seem like the kind of guy to try and trick Mxyzptlk, he'd just try to hit him, which doesn't work since he's basically only as real as he wants to be.

  8. Darkseid himself. The only reason I'd go with Kalibak over Darkseid is because Darkseid doesn't really do bit parts. If he's going to show up he's going to show up with an invasion force. Plus his Omega Beams are notorious for only ever having missed two beings, (Batman & The Joker) and being endured, albeit most of the time with serious damage (two zaps bloodied Superman's face up three zaps put him on his knees) just not instant disintegration (as is the usual effect) by two other beings. (Superman & Doomsday.) They're pin point accurate, tracking their initial target relentlessly and don't stop till they hit something.

  9. Doomsday is the ultimate powerhouse, and has actually killed Superman on more than one occasion. (seriously) The YJ team would have zero chance at beating him, it would be a fight for survival, and the members who can't take a beating or escape very quickly would fail to survive.

  10. General Zod is just someone I wouldn't use because he was kinda a write off in his canon. Kryptonian general sentenced to eternity in the Phantom Zone (Kypton's prison for the extremely dangerous) Superman originally let him out once he accessed the Phantom Zone in an attempt to learn more about Krypton. Zod decided that Kryptonians needed to be in charge of Earth so they could put a stop to silly stuff like wars, famine and personal freedom. He's a full blooded Kryptonian, ten seconds in the sun and he's as beefy as Superman.

Batman's Rogue
Baring in mind that Batman's rogues tend to be more, well, insane, than Superman's, I think they tend to make better characters over all, but can be harder to write for because they have royally messed up logic.
Spoiler:

  1. Deathstroke probably better known as Slade, he's pretty much as close to an anti-batman as the DC canon has, two of his kids are dead and the third stabbed out her eye cause she was high on drugs he gave her, and he's still a better father than Young Justice's Superman. His specialties include fighting multiple people at once, and the more action that's going on the greater his advantage over you generally is. In canon he's got a hate-on for Green Arrow and his guild on account of Ollie sticking an arrow in his empty eye socket during a fight, and in canon he shot Impulse, I wanna say the third Kid Flash, in the knee, which since Speedster's heal faster, but only if things are put together right, was horrible for the kid, had to endure open knee surgery without meds, he metabolized them too quickly, while healing during the surgery.

  2. Scarecrow, Robin would be the best equipped to fight him, having probably done so before, but a healthy dose of fear gas to any of the team's power houses Aqualad MM or SB and they'd be causing enough chaos for Jonathan to get the drop on Robin. Plus I'd love to see/read Wally having a super-fast panic attack, though keeping in mind that Speedsters metabolize everything faster, so the drugs would run their course through Wally much faster than they would the rest of the team, plus the effectiveness on MM or AL would be questionable due to their alien physiology, Kryptonians on the other hand have been shown to be equally effected by gas-chemicals as most humans. SB could hallucinate the others are Genomes and cause them some damage.

  3. Firefly, is a guy with a major hard-on for Fire. He used to be a pyrotechnics guy until his stuff burned the pop-singer girl he worked for rather seriously. He asked for the video of the accident and was 'fired' on the spot. MM would have to stay Miles away from this guy. Not sure how he'd fair against a Kryptonian, but he does own a jet pack. Spraying fire down on him from above, I don't know what Kryptonian heat resistance actually is off the top of my head, but I do know that at least in modern times, they need oxygen, a circle of fire and Superboy would probably be too dense to get out before he passes out.

  4. Clayface is pretty seriously powerful when you get right down to it. SB could pound on him all day and it wouldn't do squat. Set the fight someplace where Aqualad doesn't have a source of water to telekinetic manipulate and Clayface could beat the YJ down pretty hard.

  5. Killer Croc could probably muscle Superboy into a corner, he's at least as powerful as Aqualad, probably as good a swimmer, if not better, plus his jaws could snap through most everything, stone, metal, wood, Aqualad's weapons. It's canon that he eats people.

  6. Poison Ivy could work her wiles on the boys, again Robin would be a question but taking a villain from the Batman Rogues will have that problem. Again her poison works fine on Kryptonians, and lord knows Wally would be under her sway even after he metabolized her juice, though it would be amusing to see her having to keep kissing him because again, Speedsters metabolize everything faster than regular people.

  7. Jason Todd AKA The Red Hood is about as good as Deathstroke, but without a regenerative healing factor means he can't take a hit worth anything, also I'd be curious to see how Jason's telepathic resistance played up compared to Slade's. Slade's brain works faster than the average man, invading his mind would probably be unpleasant if you didn't keep up, Jason's works at average speed.

  8. Joker is another one of those that's too intense to put up against the YJ team, he's too crazy and he'd probably kill at least Aqualad or MM. Superboy could take the hits though again toxins work fine against Kryptonians as against humans, KF would be an interesting guy though since again, he'd be super metabolizing the toxin faster than everyone else. Not sure if that would actually work with Joker Toxin though, not sure if it can actually be metabolized.

  9. Mr. Freeze is only this far down on the list because, unlike Firefly, he doesn't get the bonus of preying upon two of the five members of the YJ. Plus again he appeared in the show which again, I don't like messing with canon and having Batman & Robin beating Freeze solo creates poor precedent for having him take on the YJ team. Though Aqualad would be basically useless against him, the rest of the team would have their own time.

  10. Deadshot and the others are not really viable characters. Without some sort of special tech they'd be unable to match up against the YJ power houses, Superboy alone could own them all.

Overall

  1. Kalibak; Darkseid's son he lives to please his father, murdering Superman's 'son' would be just the ticket he'd want to punch, plus the potential for dialog between Kalibak and SB is too sweet to pass up SB: "Why are you doing this?" Kal: "I do this for my father!" SB: "Your father?" fails to pay attention to the fight and takes a hard blow to the face or other body part critically injuring him.

  2. Osiris; Another mini-villain with a better relationship with his mentor than SB. I measure a lot against SB because ultimately it doesn't matter if your can deal with the Speedster or the Martian, the Kryptonian is the guy to beat, and Kryptonians are vulnerable to magic, and Osiris uses magic, plus he's at least as powerful as SB, probably more so, and again has a better relations ship with his 'family' leader than SB, though in this case it's not father son, they're brother-in-laws.

  3. Parasite; Superman's villain and someone who the more people with powers you put up against him, the more powerful he becomes. Perfect for taking on a team of young, poorly trained heroes. Again, the potential for good dialog is a factor, drain off some of those memories from the team and taunt away, maybe even taunt Artemis with the knowledge that she has but we don't. 'You don't really think they're going to accept you do you? I mean look at you. You don't belong with them, what are you even doing here? I just took out Superboy, do you really wanna die fighting me? And for what? For them?' Rudy really doesn't get the kind of play he should, he's actually pretty cunning, in an evil janitor kind of way. Borrow your thoughts and he knows exactly what you try not to think about.

  4. Deathstroke; Slade Wilson, you remember him from the Teen Titans cartoon. He's basically an assassin, the YJ could be trying to keep him from doing his job, the JL could not have known who was the assassin they were sending the team to counter. Not a lot of chances for good dialog push him down the list, but you could still do something sexy with him taunting the team like he generally does the Titans. (he's much more manipulative and less homo-erotic in the comics than in the show.)

  5. Firefly; a regular guy with it bad for girl with flaming locks. I'd see a fight against him playing out with Firefly trying to light the girls on fire, Wally busying himself saving them, then Robin and SB doing what they can to beat him. Again you'd have to do something tricky to get Firefly to actually injure Superboy, one of the reasons he's pushed down the list.

  6. Scarecrow; even less probably to hurt the team physical as Firefly, Scarecrow would be more into making them hurt themselves, or each other. Again SB becomes the guy to beat, and I don't really see Scarecrow hurting a Kryptonian no matter how much fear toxin he pumps into him, but he could pretty easily make SB hurt the rest of the team, Megan trying to calm him down telepathically could take a serious wrong turn if SB is hallucinating them as genomes.

  7. Toyman; pushed down the list by the fact that he's hard to deal with, and in canon he's got a thing for the underaged girls, just fair warning. He had the advantage of actually being able to hurt a Kryptonian, he probably has something like a cannon of some kind that shoots something specially designed to hurt Kryptonians. I'm tempted to push him up the list since he could taunt the team fairly nicely, calling them things like 'Justice League knock-off' 'cheep imitations' or just even 'Young Justice League' (which was once upon a time going to be the actual name of the team.)

  8. Atomic Skull; no chances for decent dialog here, and he's such a random character I don't even know that much about him. Still he seems crazy enough, and he can put a dent in a Kryptonian, so there is that much going for him.

  9. Superman Elemental Villains: Livewire, Volcana, Killer Frost is one of his I think... which interestingly enough means that there's a Lightning Fire and Frost female villain for Superman, anyway any one of them could give the team a run for their money but it'd be a much more even fight than against #1 #2 or #3.
Fun fact though, Killer Frost's powers work by draining heat, rather than by creating cold.

  10. Anyone else from the lists above.

PS: Doctor Light should probably be on the list somewhere, but since I'm still holding out that he's going to be part of "The Light" if for no other reason than the fact that he's a Seriously high level villain, when not suffering from magical lobotomy, and his name is Doctor Light and their name is the Light.

Also this stupid thing reset my post at 12:00 midnight, so I had to type this post twice.

Damn, write that all twice? Sheesh.

Yeah, I've been catching up on everything with DC for over the past three years and my top choices were Deathstroke/Slade, Clayface, Ravanger (most likely a bad idea), The Joker (I would have made him come pretty close to killing 'birdboy'), Bane, and Posion Ivy or Scarecrow.

Got my fingers crossed for a non-whimpy Doctor Light. You do have a point with the 'light'. Everyone knows that Batmans foes are probally the most insane of the entire DC Universe.

I read somewhere that new Young Justice episodes were supposed to be aired June 3rd. But then they delayed it for an unknown period of time.

HOWEVER, the tenth and latest episode is available on YouTube here with flipping awesome quality considering that it's, well, YouTube. It's Miss Martian and Superboy's first day of school. I spotted some TT heroes in their new school friends. See if you can spot 'em, too.

So watched the episode, Ab is totally right this school has more Titans that most Towers do. Seriously, I think like, every named character came from the Titans comics. Wendy & Marvin are the genius duo who rebuild the tower like N-teenth times, Malcolm Duncan is Herald/Vox's real name, and it shouldn't take a genius to figure out who the girl in yellow & black with the big poofy powder puffs is.

Oh and Mr. Carr, who snaps his fingers to control the group of students... ahem "This is Snapper Carr reporting-"
his real name is Lucas Carr

The one criticism I would have is that it seems way to into showing the audience people's faces. I mean, we see Cheshire unmasked for like 10 seconds before she goes all assassin, and I'd be cool with just that, but then we also have her unmasked when she's in prison hitting on Roy, and when she's all sneaky sneaking in as a geisha for her second attempt.

Then Lex and Ras have their little drink at the end of the episode and it just like. Yes, we probably could've guessed Lex Luthor would be a member of the Light, he's Lex flippin' Luthor, he's a member of like everything...

I think I'm going to wait until Season One comes out on DVD to watch it all. The first several episodes sold me, and I feel like I'm cheating out the producers when watching it on YouTube.

I think I'm more amused by the fact that of the team with 2 girls in it, this version has all of two guys, maybe three hard to tell Kid Flash's gender, but I mean they included Arsenal so I think it evens out.

This is a better pic for the Kid Flash. 99.9% sure it's a guy.
(0.1% sure it's an alien thinking pretending to be a superhero is simply part of Earth culture.)
